Advertising a website can be hard, and so can making money off of one. Fortunately, there is a way to kill both of those birds with one stone. That stone is called the t-shirt.
Since the dawn of time, creative people have been making money off their internet creations by selling t-shirts. These shirts are often emblazoned with some slogan or catchphrase that originated on their site; a slogan or catchphrase that people who don't read their webcomic or watch their cartoons won't know. This is, of course, fine for the wearer of such a shirt, as such an obscure reference gives the t-shirt's wearer hipster cred. Everybody wins!
Because I want to win, I have released a new line of Koenig's Kooky Krafts Store and davidxkoenig.com t-shirts. Each shirt features an obscure in-joke or reference to my website on the front, and a website address on the back, because who doesn't like using their bodies to advertise a hyperlink?
Koenig's Kooky Krafts is not responsible for customers who experience strangers trying to click the link on their backs. |
